Product Description
The Nintendo DSi is the third model of the Nintendo DS platform, following Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite, and Nintendo has developed Nintendo DSi with the aim to further expand the Nintendo DS audience. Some typical functions include the ability to change the pitch and the speed separately by using the touch screen. The ability to freely manipulate the audio pitch and the speed can expand how the audio player can be used in more practical ways as well. You can fast-forward a podcast to economize the time. When you use the repeat-run function with the stylus, it becomes easier to copy the music, to play a musical instrument or to practice foreign languages. Also, since Nintendo DSi has a microphone, Nintendo is incorporating the DSi sound function to make use of it. Nintendo DSi has internal memory, just like Wii. After storing the data there, you can choose to activate this data from the menu screen.

3 out of 5 stars undecided   January 1, 2010
Sadie May (Canada)
I'm 28 years old, and all of the advertisements I'd seen for the DSi were geared toward my age category... I'm having a hard time finding it to be worth the money I spent on it. I recently got wireless internet in the house, so I downloaded the web application, and that's neat, but I can just go on my laptop. I've purchased a few games thinking I could train my brain or learn a new word every day... that gets old easy. I didn't even really love the cooking game I purchased. I sometimes really enjoy my DSi, but for the most part, it's sat in a drawer.

P.S. I like to take it to work on nights when it is slow, it's a nice way to kill time, but unfortunately, I usually don't have much time to kill.

5 out of 5 stars dsi black   December 25, 2009
Sheliblu (Northern Ontario, Canada)
I enjoyed using this game from the second I opened the box. Easy to use and a lot of fun - especially with the built in camera and lenses. I have only played one game on it so far, but it is great for using to fill in time I would have spent waiting and not doing anything else.

Would recomend for anyone who enjoys this type of game.

5 out of 5 stars They Love It   November 1, 2009
Aqua67 (Ottawa On. Canada)
This was given as a birthday gift and she loves it. Her brother has a black DSi, she could not wait for her birthday to get one.
Their has been some trouble getting them online. Over all this is a great upgrade from the DS.

The Nintendo DSi is amazing!

although I would not purchase from Amazon.ca as they are poor at keeping their promise to ship for free (when your order is over $39) and this item took an extremely long time to be processed/shipped. I purchased this item in stock and then my order was back ordered cause they accept more orders than they have items to purchase. My opinion - buy this from an electronics store where they never have or rarely have something on back order.
